This 2025 Epiphone Kirk Hammett 1979 Flying V recreates the distinctive look of Hammett’s original late-’70s Flying V. The mahogany body is paired with a one-piece mahogany neck, Indian laurel fingerboard, and rounded C profile with a volute. A pair of Gibson USA Calibrated T-Type humbuckers provides a powerful, articulate voice, with CTS pots, an Orange Drop capacitor, and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle completing the electronics. Grover Rotomatic tuners with spade buttons, a custom bridge, and LockTone stopbar round out the ’70s-inspired hardware, making this a particularly well-equipped take on the classic Flying V design. Cosmetically, this example remains in excellent condition.
