Originally introduced as a student model, the Epiphone Olympic has developed an identity all its own thanks to its clean lines, lightweight construction, and no-frills approach. This 1966 example has been fitted with a Novak P-90-style bridge pickup, adding a punchy, dynamic voice that suits the guitar's simple layout without feeling out of place. Finished in Cherry, it shows several dings and areas of checking that give an honest picture of its decades of use while remaining in very good vintage condition. The combination of its offset silhouette, short-scale feel, and upgraded electronics makes this Olympic an appealing departure from the more common single-pickup examples.
