Each mandolin is made from select tonewoods and built using the same team and approach. The lacquer finish on these instruments is designed to be more durable than a delicate spirit varnish while remaining thin enough to avoid restricting vibration or dampening the instrument’s response. If you've been looking for one of our instruments in a more direct, readily available version without the need for custom options, the S Series may be a good fit.
