McCollum guitars use high class dovetail neck joint construction and are known for their use of beautiful tonewoods and ornate rosettes. With production numbers estimated to be around a mere 300, this guitar is certainly a rare piece. A dragonfly theme is pleasantly visible in the rosette and fretboard inlays and complements the guitar's body binding, neck binding, and headstock overlay. Aesthetics aside, this instrument plays beautifully with its ergonomic neck and rings out with a decidedly even and sustaining tone. Previous work includes a bridge crack and new bone nut.
