Description

This 1946 Martin D-28 is a remarkable example of a true vintage dreadnought, offering a rich, balanced tone and superb playability with minimal repair work. The substantial, fat "V"-shaped neck feels great in the hand—classic and comfortable, with vintage character. It retains its original finish, showcasing honest wear and chipping that speak to its history without detracting from its charm.

The back and sides are crafted from beautiful straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood, with a repaired crack along the back center seam. Our in-house repair team has planed the fretboard and completed a compression refret, resulting in exceptional playability and ideal action.
