This 1935 Martin C-2 in Sunburst is a beautiful example of the company’s early archtop work, blending elegant design with the build quality of their golden era. The carved spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides create a warm, balanced voice with a distinct vintage character. It's undergone a neck reset and refret, with some binding cracking at the fingerboard extension and a loose brace inside that could not be addressed without removing the back. Despite these repair, the guitar remains structurally sound and offers the cutting response of a vintage prewar archtop.
Includes original case (locking latch is broken).
