Crafting fine guitars in Chicago, the Larson brothers produced some very fine instruments that still hold their own today. The Larson name carries a weight among guitar players and collectors as an excellent example of fine guitars built in the pre-war era that do not fetch the premium that Martin and Gibson instruments of the same time ask. However, we do tend to see the growth and value increase based less on the brand and more on the result of the work. With this particular example, we are welcomed with a well playing and extremely open guitar built from Spruce and Brazilian Rosewood. It remains all original and is setup with high action for slide.OHSC included.
