This 1973 Gretsch Super Chet 7690 sits at the top of Gretsch’s hollowbody lineup, with a laminated maple body, maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard dressed in abalone inlay. Dual Filter’Tron humbuckers and an expanded control layout give it a wide tonal spread while staying firmly in classic Gretsch territory. Finished in a rich cherry with gold hardware, it’s an elegant and deliberate design from the Baldwin-era catalog.
