This 1964 Gibson SJ-200 carries the bold presence and craftsmanship that has defined Gibson’s king of flat-tops since the late 1930s. Built with maple back and sides paired to a spruce top, it delivers the projection and balance that have long made the model a standout among large-bodied acoustics. This example has seen a number of careful repairs over the years, including a neck reset, refret, reglues to the bridge and bridge plate, binding work, and reinforcement to several top cracks. Signs of once-replaced tuners remain, though a period-correct set is now in place, and there are areas of finish touch-up. Thanks to these repairs, the guitar retains the commanding voice and aesthetic that define the model, offering a glimpse into Gibson’s mid-’60s approach to their most iconic jumbo. A well-preserved piece of history with work done to ensure stability and playability for years to come.

Includes modern Gibson hard shell case.
