Modifications/RepairsRecent refret, new bone nut and replaced bridge (Gold) with widened string spacing, replaced neck pickup (Custom Shop MJ Wound Seymour Duncan Antiquity), removed cover from original bridge pickup, removed tremolo spring/arm to act as stop tail
Gibson's Norlin Era guitars are great entries into the vintage guitar world and are excellent work horses! This SG has had all of the quality of life upgrades you could hope for - it has had its factory "fretless wonder" frets swapped for Jescar medium jumbos with a new bone nut and at some point the bridge was swapped and cut for wider string spacing to make the guitar more comfortable, accounting for the slightly skinnier nut width of the era.

The neck pickup was swapped with a Seymour Duncan Custom Antiquity, giving it more clarity, and it retains its original patent sticker T-top bridge pickup with the cover removed, having that classic SG bark and bite! One final modification was made: a very subtle but helpful master bass cut switch was added to help clean up the sound when you want just a little more cut in the mix. This is a great playing, great sounding, and well maintained vintage SG ready to rock for many years to come!

Includes its original hard shell case.
