A very rare guitar right here.  You don't see too many 1962 Gibson SG Les Paul Standards with the ebony block Vibrola.  A handful were made in 1962 and that was it for the ebony block guitar production.  This beautiful example is in very good condition and powered by two absolutely killer sounding PAFs.  The neck pickup reads 7.6K and the bridge pickup clocks in at 9.3K.  This thing's absolutely ready to rock, it's a great sounding guitar. The PAFs look like they may have been out of the guitar at some point and then put back in; the solder on the pickup covers is factory original and the PAF stickers are in great shape so we don't see any evidence of re-winding.  The neck's is a very slim profile, more like a '61 Gibson; what the old school players back in the day called a, "Speed neck."  The frets are original and they've been dressed at least a couple of times.  Amazingly, the guitar still plays well.  Speaking of necks, this one has never been broken; another rare thing in regards to old SGs.  This guitar comes in it's original black hardshell case with the yellow lining.  The cool old Gretsch strap in the case?  No extra charge!
