Description
This 1963 Gibson SG is a killer player with tons of vintage mojo. The slimmer '63 neck profile makes it a lightning fast player, and it seems to have been refretted recently, with excellent playability. The original Patent No. pickups sound great and respond to overdrive no problem. The bridge pickup cover has been removed, and there is evidence of previously installed tuners, however the original have been reinstalled. There is also evidence the neck was beginning to separate, but that has been professionally addressed as well. The nut has been replaced, but otherwise this beautiful instrument remains all original. Cosmetically, it remains in good vintage condition, with checking and dings throughout.
Includes vintage hard shell case with an added second handle.
