This 1941 Gibson L-00 is a small-body flat-top natural finish guitar with a well-preserved appearance for its age. The guitar shows substantial finish checking and several small dings throughout, though it remains quite clean overall. A number of professional repairs and maintenance items have been completed, including a neck reset, refret, and bridge reglue. The endpin hole has been filled and reamed, and both the nut and saddle have been shimmed. There is also a small non-structural separation in a finger brace and a reglued back crack above the end block along the center seam. With these repairs addressed, it stands as a solid and well-maintained early-1940s L-00.
Includes vintage chipboard case.
