This 1978 Franklin Guitars OM is a finely crafted early example from luthier Nick Kukich, known for his meticulous attention to detail and tone. Built in the tradition of prewar Orchestra Models, it features a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and herringbone purfling. The guitar offers a clear, articulate voice with impressive balance and sustain—hallmarks of Franklin’s boutique craftsmanship. A rare and resonant instrument from the early days of the modern luthiery movement. Check out the Specs tab for the full repair history. Includes the original hardshell case.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
