This Fender Custom Shop Ltd. 70th Anniversary Broadcaster pays tribute to the iconic beginnings of the Telecaster... as the Broadcaster. The short-lived era is an important part of the Fender's infancy, and has become mythologized over time. While real Broadcasters can command tens of thousands of dollars, this Custom Shop example is an opportunity to get a fantastic replica at a fraction of the price. It's a fantastic guitar with a 2-piece ash body and a flamed maple neck. It has the classic pre-Tele twang and the 3-way configuration with the dark position. It's a cool guitar with a cool worn look.
