Description
The look of this amp exudes pure vintage charm, and its sound is equally impressive. The circuit is nearly identical to the 5A2 Princeton circuit from 1948, and features a 10" speaker instead of the usual 8" - which is a huge upgrade in terms of punch and tonal range. The 6SL7 octal preamp provides a rich, deep midrange, giving it a thick breakup sound, reminiscent of much larger amp. Small but mighty, the Alamo Model 3 offers fantastic value for the sound, making it a great option for anyone in the market for a single-ended Tweed Fender-style amp.
