This 1982 Yamaha SG-3000 Custom Professional is a flagship Japanese-made instrument, built with neck-through construction and a carved maple top over a mahogany body. The ebony fingerboard and ornate inlays complement the finish, while the dual Spinex humbuckers deliver a rich, powerful voice with plenty of sustain and clarity. Yamaha’s distinctive construction and carefully executed details give this model a character all its own. The electronics have been rewired with push-pull pots, adding switching functionality to the original control layout.
