Victoria is a reliable name in the boutique amp world, known for their Fender-style designs. The Trem d’la Trem follows a familiar tweed-style platform, delivering excellent overdrive along with a rich, deep tremolo. The tremolo can be engaged via footswitch or by using the on/off switch built into the speed control.
It’s also fitted with a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker, which pairs beautifully with tweed-style circuits. This example is in fabulous condition, showing only minimal signs of previous wear. Here’s what Victoria has to say about it:
"The Trem d’ la Trem is a classic mid ’50’s tweed design based on the venerable Fender 5E9-A Tremolux. It employs 2 cathode-biased 6V6’s to produce a modest 14 watts of power. The footswitchable trem effect is achieved by modulating the bias of the phase inverter, yielding a smooth musical effect that is not effected by the volume of the amplifier. It features a bright and normal channel, master tone, speed and intensity."
