Tom Anderson Raven Superbird 2020, Black

The Raven Superbird takes Tom Anderson’s offset Raven design in a slightly more muscular direction, with a short 24.75" scale and Mahogany neck that give the guitar a focused, midrange-heavy character. This 2020 example is finished in Black, keeping the look clean while letting the offset shape and Anderson hardware do the talking. The shorter scale gives it a familiar, slightly slinkier feel, while the Superbird recipe is designed around a fuller and more aggressive response. It’s a distinctive Anderson that takes some familiar vintage ideas and puts a distinctly modern spin on them.
