Built by Scottish luthier Rory Dowling, this Tirga Beag reflects his meticulous approach to small-bodied guitar design. The Adirondack spruce top and cocobolo back and sides give it a focused, articulate voice with a rich low end and clear note separation. The craftsmanship is understated yet refined, with clean lines and tasteful appointments throughout. Two repaired back cracks are stable and neatly handled, leaving the guitar structurally sound and ready for continued use. A finely built instrument that captures the character and precision of Dowling’s work.
