Takamine TF 340S BG 2011, Natural

Built in Takamine’s Pro Series facility, the TF-340S(BG) is a purpose-built dreadnought designed around solid tonewoods and a vintage-oriented flatpicking voice. This 2011 example pairs a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, and the substantial neck profile associated with the Tradesman Series. The CTP-1 CoolTube preamp and Palathetic pickup provide a sophisticated amplified setup, while the open-gear antique nickel tuners and rosewood bridge keep the appearance traditional. Finished in Gloss Natural, it’s a particularly well-equipped version of Takamine’s American flatpicking-inspired dreadnought.
