A Martin D-18 at a fraction of the price: there's a reason these are "Lawsuit Era." A 1978 Takamine F-340 featuring a spruce top with mahogany back and sides, a reliable, great sounding D-18 style. The original finish shows light wear, along with a few cosmetic changes from its past life—a sticker was removed from the top, and there’s evidence of a pick holder that was once mounted on the upper treble-side bout. A small, coin sized finish mark also sits at the center of the headstock. The neck has a comfortable, familiar profile, and the guitar delivers a focused low end with clear projection. No major repairs or structural issues. A solid example from Takamine’s earlier production years.
