Suhr 01-LTD-0033 Legacy 2022, Trans Caramel

The Suhr Standard Legacy was based on the first guitar John Suhr designed and built for himself in 1984, bringing that original concept into a limited-edition production model. This 2022 example features an African Okoume body with a figured Maple top, Maple neck, and Indian Rosewood fingerboard, finished in Trans Caramel with a scraped binding detail. An HSS EMG pickup layout pairs SA pickups in the neck and middle positions with an EMG 85 at the bridge, while gold hardware and Suhr locking tuners complete the package. The combination of the carved Standard body shape, figured top, and familiar Strat-style pickup arrangement gives this Legacy its own character while staying rooted in Suhr’s early design.
