Bruce Sexauer has been crafting stringed instruments for over 50 years. Operating out of Petaluma, California, he still accepts custom orders but primarily focuses on creating spec guitars that allow him to explore his artistic vision. The FT-L00 model draws inspiration from vintage L-00-style guitars in terms of body size and shape. However, the similarities with a vintage L-00 end there. Like many of Sexauer's creations, this guitar features an asymmetrical design with a slightly offset body shape and unique materials. The body boasts an Adirondack Spruce top and Southern Magnolia back and sides. Additional features include Koa bindings and rosette with abalone inlay, a Manzer wedge, EVO frets, Shaller copper-colored "Grand Tune" tuners, and a sound port. The guitar shows moderate wear on its varnish finish, with various nicks and light scratches, but its structural integrity remains solid. It is an exceptional guitar for fingerpicking styles, offering beautiful playability with low action.HSC included.
