Ronin Coyote 2020s, Metallic Green

This 2020s Ronin Coyote is a hand-built boutique piece from one of California’s most distinctive small shops, and it has a voice all its own. The redwood body is resonant and lively, with a woody, open character that sets it apart from the usual mahogany and alder builds. Ronin’s Stormcrow-wound foil-buckers give you two personalities: a hot, aggressive bridge pickup that snarls and pushes an amp hard, and a lower-output neck that stays clear, chimey and articulate. The 24" scale feels slinky and easy to bend, and the soft “V” roasted maple neck has a full, vintage feel and stays stable season after season. With Hipshot open-gear tuners and a comfortable weight for long sets, it’s a rare, player-ready boutique guitar that sounds like nothing else on the wall.
