Built through PRS's Private Stock program, this 2011 DGT Wildwood Stoptail pairs David Grissom's signature platform with a collection of premium appointments selected specifically for Wildwood Guitars. The stoptail bridge and DGT electronics deliver the responsive feel and broad tonal range that helped make the model a favorite within the PRS lineup, while the figured maple top under the Sunburst finish gives the instrument a refined, understated look. Private Stock construction allowed for a greater level of customization than the standard production model, making each example distinct without departing from the DGT's core design. This guitar represents an early chapter in the evolution of the DGT, before it became one of PRS's longest-running signature models. It is a well-executed example of the company's custom work from the early 2010s, blending familiar DGT features with the added character of a Private Stock build.
