This 1999 PRS Hollowbody Piezo in Amber combines the company’s finely carved maple top with a mahogany back and sides, delivering both resonance and balance. The hollow construction keeps the weight down while providing a responsive acoustic quality, further expanded by the piezo bridge system alongside the stock humbuckers. Its mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard, offering the familiar playability of PRS’s Wide Fat profile. Cosmetically, this guitar does have some wear from its years of play. There is a large finish crack along one of the knobs and many finish dings on the back and sides. None of these finish problems are structural however, and it still remains a killer guitar.
Includes black hard shell case.
