This Parts Telecaster draws clear inspiration from the late-’60s rosewood Telecasters made famous during Fender’s CBS era, delivering much of the look and character of those instruments without the substantial weight often associated with them. Built from unbranded components with vintage-style pickups and CTS pots, it has a lively, articulate response and a comfortably slim neck profile that makes for an easy-playing guitar overall. At just under 8 lbs, it avoids the density that many all-rosewood style builds can carry while still retaining the warmth and snap associated with the design.
Cosmetically, there is mild player wear throughout along with some buckle rash on the back, though the guitar remains clean overall with no major issues to note. It’s a convincing nod to one of Fender’s more unusual late-’60s experiments, a model forever tied to the rooftop-era image of George Harrison’s rosewood Telecaster.
Includes hard shell case.
