Condition NotesSigns of age throughout except on peg-head. Warn but not tarnished or significantly damaged at all. Signs of warp in the steel and a few dents on the edges, plus some patina. But overall very clean and very beautiful.
Description
One of the most beautiful resonators we’ve encountered, this 1927 National features custom period engraving reminiscent of later banjo resonators. Restored by National, it remains in excellent condition for an instrument nearing 100 years old. A stunning Brazilian fingerboard and rich, resonant tone complete the package, while the engraving and overall aesthetic make this a truly special find. Comes with a 1960s-era Victoria Luggage Co. hard-shell case.
