Description

This 1934 National Style 0 features the distinctive “chicken foot” coverplate design that marked a new phase in the model’s evolution. Its nickel-plated brass body has developed a rich patina over time, complementing the instrument’s striking etched scenes. The guitar has been refretted and fitted with replaced binding (Original frets and broken original binding included in case). The single-cone resonator design delivers the clear, metallic voice that defined early Hawaiian and blues recordings. A fine example of National’s craftsmanship during one of its most iconic production years.
