This Nacho Blackguard is an excellent example of what has made the builder so highly regarded. Lightweight and exceptionally well executed, it captures the essence of an early Blackguard with remarkable authenticity in both feel and design.
The neck carve is especially impressive — slimmer toward the nut and gradually, gracefully filling out by the twelfth fret, making it feel effortless and natural across the entire fingerboard. Tonally, it is right on target for a great ’50s-spec Tele-style guitar, while benefiting from a modern three-way control setup.
The sound is warm, glassy, and slightly darker on the bridge pickup than the ultra-bright Tele lead tones some expect, yet it remains every bit as aggressive, dynamic, and responsive. Finished with a beautiful and tasteful subtle relic treatment, this guitar comes with the original hard-shell case (OHSC).
