This MXR Blue Box features a blue finish and sought after script logo. It is a quirky and iconic fuzz/octave pedal that generates a thick, square-wave fuzz paired with a sub-octave signal. Known for its unpredictable, synth-like character, it delivers everything from sputtering chaos to velcro-like sustain. This early version is especially prized for its raw, unrefined tone and vintage charm.
