Standing as the most sought-after Mesa Boogie amp, the Mark IIC+ became famous for its well-known use on Metallica's 80s albums. This configuration was only produced for a short time, making the numbers much lower than the models both before and after. This amp features the rare "Simul-Class" configuration, indicating it was built just before the first Mark III models. The power configuration is switchable between 75w full power and 15w Class A.
This amp is in extraordinarily good condition and sounds every bit as amazing as you'd expect. The chassis is signed 2/84, along with the "+" above the power cord with Mike B's initials. This perfect combination of circuit and transformer choice has yet to be replicated in quite the same way, making these amps a very special purchase for the discerning player!
