Description

The original Bass 400 and 400+ were Mesa Boogie's answer to the high-wattage, all-tube bass amp, offering a fresh take on the classic SVT-style format. The result was a fantastic-sounding preamp paired with a clean, powerful output section. The graphic EQ is an expanded version of what's found on the Mark Series amps—anyone familiar with those knows just how great it can sound.

This amp appears to be all original and lightly used. It looks to have been recently retubed, with minimal hours on the tubes. It's housed inside a 4U road case rack, with easy to carry side handles. It may be one of the most versatile bass heads ever built and should have no trouble handling venues of any size.
