From the upper echelon of the Martin lineup, this 1969 D-41 brings commanding tone and appearance to any guitar collection. Outfitted with abalone hexagonal inlays and purfling, it sets itself apart as a top-of-the-line piece. Although the back and sides are Indian rosewood, the headstock veneer is Brazilian, with 1969 being a transition year for Martin. It's undergone a handful of thoughtful repairs (fully listed in our specs page) to bring it back up to playing snuff. Cosmetically, it remains in good shape for its age with some player wear, and some overspray on the back.
A vintage period-correct hard shell case is included.
