This 1934 Martin C-1 is finished in Sunburst and represents an early example of Martin’s small-bodied archtop guitar line. The spruce top and mahogany body are paired with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, giving the guitar a straightforward combination of traditional materials. Its compact body makes for a comfortable playing feel, while the archtop construction gives it a distinct voice compared with Martin’s flat-top models. This is a characterful prewar Martin with plenty of vintage appeal and an uncommon place in the company’s history.
Includes modern hard shell case.
