This 1940 000-18 is a stunning piece of history that also happens to be an incredible sounding vintage Martin guitar. Featuring the US Army Laundry #B7121, this guitar started its life as a soldier's companion. Nearly 100 years later, it lives on thanks to thoughtful preservation and tasteful repairs. It's benefitted from a neck reset, has replacement waverly tuners, pins, a replacement ivory nut, small maple bridge plate and ebony fretboard and bridge. The sides and backs have been refinished, a back crunch has been repaired with a cleat, and a jack hole has been plugged on the top.
