One of the most beautifully built classical guitars in modern U.S. history, Manuel Velasquez's mid-century builds are highly sought after for good reason. Very high grade ebony, spruce, and Brazilian Rosewood was used in its construction. This 1951 example is in faithfully healthy condition thanks to some hairline crack repairs and a bridge reglue. For those famed folk singers of the NYC folk boom, there was no classical guitar more desired than one made by Velasquez.
