Brand new with HSC. From Mann:
The Gypsy Raven is an acoustic guitar that incorporates a few ideas that I've been wanting to try for some time.. loosely based on a gypsy jazz format with 26" scale length ..wide body, arched top with floating bridge...arched back and slotted headstock..
But from there it takes a little detour.. it has a neck through construction that facilitates full access to the upper fretboard.. an asymmetrical body design that I have used on my archtop electrics...and double X braced torrified spruce top (thanks to luthier Bernie Lehmann for that idea). As for tone... think as if a Selmer and a D-18 had a baby.. great snap and projection but with a big warm low end.
