This Larson Brothers A-style oval hole mandolin from the 1910s is a charming piece of early American instrument craftsmanship. Finished in Natural, it has two repaired top cracks, a replaced bridge and nut, and is missing its tailpiece cover—but remains structurally solid and fully playable. The sound is unmistakably vintage: loud, dry, and full of the character you’d expect from a century-old mandolin. The neck has an ergonomic, easy-to-hold shape that makes it surprisingly fun to play. A unique and soulful time capsule from one of the great early American builders. Comes with a period correct Gibson HSC.
