Chicago-based builders Carl and August Larson left a lasting mark on early 20th-century guitar making, earning a reputation for forward-thinking design and craftsmanship. Their influence lives on through later revivals of the brand, first under Toni Gotz and Roman Zajicek, and more recently through Maurice Dupont’s workshop in Cognac, France, where these instruments are built with a clear nod to the originals. This 14-fret OM-style model reflects that heritage, with rosewood back and sides matched to a spruce top for a tone that’s warm, lively, and highly responsive. It’s in excellent overall condition with only light, typical wear, though there is a noticeable ding near the heel and a strap button has been added. Includes the original hardshell case.
