This 2003 Kimble F-Style mandolin features a Black Top finish paired with amber-stained flamed maple back and sides, highlighting its carved construction and traditional F-style appointments. The bound body, f-holes, and scroll are executed with clean lines and understated detail. Built with a carved spruce top and figured maple back and sides, it follows a classic tonewood combination for the model. Cosmetically, it is well-played with a worn neck and finish wear, but also well-maintained with excellent playability.
