Ibanez Tube Screamer 1982, Green

This 1982 Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer comes from the first year of production. It’s an original Japanese-made example of one of the most famous overdrives ever built. It has the smooth, warm, mid-forward drive that players have chased for over 40 years. It can push a tube amp into singing, harmonically rich breakup, or add a natural-sounding boost for leads that cut through the mix without getting harsh. A first-year TS9 is a true piece of tone history, sought after by players and collectors alike.
