Out of the revered Fujigen factory, this Ibanez is loaded with mojo, character, and decades of road-earned attitude. Before Joe Satriani introduced his signature JS model, Ibanez's Radius series helped refine the modern shred guitar, featuring the ultra-fast 430mm (17-inch) fretboard radius that made these instruments favorites among technical players.
Built for speed and performance, this guitar weighs just 7.4 lbs and features a slim, fast-playing neck (think Ibanez JEM), along with a low-profile Edge locking tremolo and locking nut. Electronics include its original IBZ USA-wound ceramic-magnet neck pickup paired with a '90s Seymour Duncan USA Trembucker in the bridge. The neck pickup delivers a fat, full voice, while the Trembucker provides tight lows, articulate highs, and impressive clarity even under heavy distortion. As shown in the photos, this guitar has been heavily played, gigged, and loved over the years. Its battle scars, decals, label-maker stickers, and writing tell the story of a life spent on stages rather than in a case. Even the gig bag carries its own history, complete with backstage passes from Japanese clubs where a previous owner once performed.
