This 1989 Ibanez JEM7PBK is an early Steve Vai signature model finished in Black, featuring the distinctive grip handle and disappearing pyramid fingerboard inlays. The basswood body is paired with a thin maple Wizard neck and rosewood fingerboard, with scalloped upper frets for added freedom in the higher register. A pair of DiMarzio PAF Pro humbuckers and a central single-coil provide a versatile range of tones, while the double-locking Edge tremolo offers the expressive pitch control central to the JEM design. This example shows a fair amount of player wear, particularly around the tremolo cavity, and is missing its tremolo arm.

Includes hard shell case.
