Still produced to this day, the Guild Savoy X-150 (now produced as the A-150) is a sweet archtop. Sonically the guitar lends itself well to jazz and lighter playing styles. This is not a rock monster, although it would enjoy some Boogie or Country licks played on it. Sweeter stylings that promote articulate note choice and chord voicings shine on this instrument because of its ability to resonate and sustain so beautifully. Oftentimes we find ourselves reaching for the "do-it-all" guitar and overlooking the job specific instruments. This X-150 is an excellent instrument that produces unique and satisfying tones from a body constructed of laminated spruce and maple. Repairs include a neck reset, multiple binding repairs, and a replaced nut.

Comes with the original hard shell case
