The Starfire III was Guild's answer to the thinline semi-hollow market in the mid-60s, and this 1967 example in Cherry shows up in honest, well-used condition. The body carries a small puncture repair on the back in the cutaway area. It has been finished over and blends in well, but is still noticeable under scrutiny or black light. The original bridge has been swapped for a replacement, but is included in the case. Tonally, it delivers what you'd expect from this format: warm, slightly compressed midrange with enough clarity on the high end to cut through. The neck profile fits the period, and the hardware otherwise remains original and functional. A great vintage guitar that won't break the bank.
