This 1961 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins is finished in Western Orange and carries the classic appointments that made the model a cornerstone of the line. The laminated maple body delivers a clear, articulate response with the snap and depth associated with early ’60s examples. This guitar has seen a binding repair, the Bigsby has been shimmed, the frets have been leveled, and a repaired strip is present on the headstock. These repairs have been addressed with playability and stability in mind, resulting in a solid and reliable vintage Gretsch.
