"The Grand Concert model is a refined and beautifully proportioned shape, and is everything you could desire from an acoustic guitar and more. Its tone is a wonderful blend of balanced clarity, and punchy projection, with a smooth rich bass response. It has a singing lyrical treble, with excellent sustain, and is comfortable to hold."Goodall declares the Grand Concert model one of the most perfect guitars, and as fans of a good mid-sized guitar, we'd agree! With a modest 15" lower bout width and 4-1/4" depth, it has a tone distinct from a Martin OM that we'd describe as a bit more robust and rounded. This a dream guitar for the discerning fingerstyle soloist who needs a guitar that can accommodate the occasional rhythm or lead role. Madagascar rosewood back and sides and master-grade bearclaw Sitka spruce top deliver a lush, gorgeous tone and a shimmering sustain that rings for days. While this MdRGC has the mature tone and loose playability of a guitar that's been played in over nearly 20 years, the condition is so clean and exquisite we did a double take when finding the serial number dates to 2005, back in the Goodalls' Hawaii days! Comes in its original hardshell case.
