"The Grand Concert model is a refined and beautifully proportioned shape, and is everything you could desire from an acoustic guitar and more. Its tone is a wonderful blend of balanced clarity, and punchy projection, with a smooth rich bass response. It has a singing lyrical treble, with excellent sustain, and is comfortable to hold."

Goodall declares the Grand Concert model one of the most perfect guitars, and as fans of a good mid-sized guitar, we'd agree! With a modest 15" lower bout width and nearly 4-1/2" depth, it has a tone distinct from a Martin OM that we'd describe as a bit more robust and rounded. The combination of koa and Engelmann spruce on this 1996 GC is the very definition of warm and sweet, with a mahogany-like focus but a little extra sparkle in the high end. It's definitely been well-played over the years, and sports the pick wear, mild buckle rash, and a handful of minor dings to prove it, as well as a little crazing of the finish on the top. But structurally it's solid, and the frets have plenty of life left. Comes with a Fishman under-saddle pickup and neck heel strap pin installed, and ships out in a structured lightweight backpack case.
